Director of Client Services

This position requires planning, coordinating and monitoring all programmatic, contractual and fiscal activities for the Client Services department for efficient, effective operations and compliance with established licensing and standards of care requirements. May be deemed to exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
In addition to other responsibilities, this position will have the opportunity to:
- Develops, implements, assesses, revises and monitors service programs to meet stakeholder needs.
- Formulates, reviews and revises policies and procedures to ensure best practice.
- Coordinates and maintains compliance with accreditation standards, documentation and records as required by regulatory agencies.
- Fiscal monitoring and analysis of programmatic and department budgets with attention to overall agency financials. Maximizing utilization of available funding.
- Track, report and analyze statistical data regarding program performance.
- Develops, implements, and monitors strategies to maximize productivity, outcome standards, service delivery and revenues.
- Address client grievances and agency incidents with written responses including licensing and funding documentation, as appropriate.
- Engages, counsels, manages, motivates, and effectively works with high-risk, vulnerable client population, including chemically dependent persons.
- Prepares reports in accordance with regulatory agency standards including outcome measures.
- Maintains appropriate staffing patterns with qualified personnel through hiring, supervision, and training.
- Monitors and supports clinical competencies through accepted discipline supervision standards.
- Ongoing evaluation of employee performance and training needs
Skills/ Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work, Mental Health Counseling or Marriage and Family Counseling or related Human Services/Public Health
- Five years’ experience in Human Service services, Case Management experience preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of HIV disease, intervention, and prevention.
- Critical review of policies and procedures
- Ability to respond to critical/crisis situations effectively.
- Knowledge management principles and practices
- Creative and solution focused.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, collaborating agencies and the public.
- Ability to demonstrate and model culturally competent behavior.
- Moderate to advanced computer skills required: Microsoft Office, Multiple Databases, Scheduling Programs
- Basic math skills required: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Basic office equipment operation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to assess changing priorities and competing deadlines is essential.
- Flexibility and ability to cope with several tasks simultaneously.
- Must be physically and mentally fit to respond to emergency situations.
- (3) years of supervisory and program management experience

- Valid Florida Driver’s License and ongoing proof of insurance
- AHCA Level II background screening
- HIV 500
